Early results- Any advice? Re: Estrogen's effects on facial rejuvenation

So, after asking the original question and getting the encouraging feedback, I

decided to risk to add just a bit of estradiol to my regiment in quest of

improved skin. My original serum test, a year ago, was 300 pg/ml E at ovulation.

I was/am taking progesterone for estrogen dominance for about a year now, and it

improved my mood and water retention significantly. Namely, I didn't have any

water retention, and started getting very accoustomed to my perpetually trim

waist.

But my skin was dryer than ever.

I had some Wiley E syringes from before when I tried it in the past without

success (my rage was returning every time.)

I started myself on extremely low dose this cycle- 1/8 of Wiley (starting with 1

line=1mg a day and up to 2 lines at ovulation) - this is as low as I can go

using the syringes.

I am on E for about 14 days now. This time, there is no ill effects on my mood

so far. Also, a noticable improvement in my dry skin- no itching or flaking on

my arms and legs that I grew to be accoustomed to. No noticable effect on face

holowness - actually, I think it improved a bit but my husband says there is no

improvement. However (!) I am retaining water on my hips and love handles again,

and my trim waist is gone and gone. I still see it in the morning before I put

any E, but it's gone soon after the application. I want it back.

Is the water retention the sign that my body just can't handle more estrogen? Do

I need to whack my body with more progesterone? Do I just need to wait till next

cycle to see if my body rebalances itself?

Is it time to start thinking about doing something drastic, beyond my

bodybuilding, about increasing my HGH levels- maybe we need high HGH in

conjunction with high E to match the hormone profile of our youth if we want to

have a low water retention in our bodies while retaining water in our skin?

Any thoughts?

Thx a lot,

Viki

supposedly 'mixed' - those who were a few years post-menopause didn't show any

effect from the (very low dose) replacement, and those who started close to the

onset had improved facial volume and skin.
