HI ,

I know so much exactly how you feel, you have said the same thing I have. I go to U of MI to be evulated cause now they say I have Pulmonary Hypertension. Sheesh, add another to the list. But yanno, I look at it this way, even if I personally don't care, am ready to give up etc, then I think about my family and friends who have stuck by my side, even the friends on here. I can't let them down. I hate hospitals too, I cringe when we drive by ours and we do everyday, but....if that's what ya need for now, go for it. Take a few good books, or borrow someones portable DVD player, lay in that bed and let them wait on you. You kick back and watch DVDs and read and relax, or call me!!!!! I'm always home . I'll be praying for you, please take care of yourself.

Love in Christ,

Keep us posted on the weaning....most of us have been there! Leanne wrote: Carolyn and Jon-You are so informative. Thank you! Ginger - my prayers are with you. Hang in

God is wonderful!Teri- I'm praying for you and Jon as you go on further in this journey.Grey- you're a great person! I appreciate your posts.Peggy and Leanne- hang in there- brighter days are ahead. Everyone deserves a nice day in bed. I don't even have PF and I spent all of 12/31 in bed just because I was feeling sorry for myself. This disease is the pits for the whole family. But everyone...we are in a new year! I am blessed to have you all in my life even if I don't post much. I finally caught up with all the posts! My dad is so called "stable" from his last appt. but has had a rough few weeks. He starts rehab on the 8th so we are looking forward to that, and praying for the best. He is being

weened of prednisone...which we all know what happens. The doctor says it is working for him...but who knows anymore.Everyone on this board....thank you for keeping this going....it is an amazing group! Here is to a miracle in 2007! A cure!!!!CYndi (DAD PF 12/05)Carolyn Merritt <cmmerrittsbcglobal (DOT) net> wrote: The higher the oxygen level in the blood, the shallower you breathe and therefore you also breathe out more shallowly. Carbon Dioxide is what we breathe out. When we dont breathe out forcefully enough CO2 builds up in our blood stream and actually suffocates us rather quickly. That is why I mentioned in the past the importance of not turning up ones oxygen higher than what is needed to maintain a normal oximetry reading. If you can get

a reading of 98 at 2 L/M but feel better at 4 L/M then you run the risk of carbon dioxide build up because you may not breathe out enough of the CO2. This is one reason I recommend a pulse oximeter. When one has difficulty breathing but the pulse oximeter reading is normal then they need to be checked out for other factors that make them uncomfortable and not assume they are not getting enough oxygen. If your O2 oximeter reads between 96-100, you are getting enough oxygen...period. Hope this helps some. • 2 weeks later...

; I got an E Mail today through Breathe-Support that had a weird E Mail address as follows:

(Breathe-Support)=?windows-1252?Q?dee-andy=20wants=20to=20talk=20you?=

From: dee-andy@...

Reply to: Breathe-Support

The message was: dee-andy wants to talk to you! And then it gave me an internet address to go to, to download some kind of software. Of course, I didn't download anything. I tried to forward the message to you and I don't think it went, so I am writing.

By the way, THANKS A LOT for getting me hooked on another computer game; Wordscape. I love it, but there are only 24 hours in the day and my other games are beginning to feel neglected. LOL LOL
