Hi Peggy

I asked my pulmonary doc about flying to Florida. She explained the air

pressure issue and said that I should use o2 on the flight and

suggested looking into a portable concentrator to take on the plane and

use at my destination.

Talk to your doctor, talk to the airline and talk to your o2 supplier.

You can arrange for o2 to be delivered to your destination for when you

arrive.

Every airline has a different rule regarding o2.

There is a web site that addresses this problem, but i don't remember

wherre i saw it.

Happy holidays.

Peggy...back when I was planning a cruise with my kids and had to fly to Florida I became overwhelmed with restrictions to fly with 02. Call the airline, they each have their own rules. Some provide 02 some do not.

There are some things you cannot take aboard...depends on how much 02 you need and how it's delivered.

02 can be delivered at the other end but check if there is a fee! Some providers charge some do not.

It's a maze to get through. Good luck.

At least it was a maze for me. The cruise ship is no problem, only the airline.

Love to you today. Sher
