Guest guest
I work in a INdependent Living and Assisted Living facility..Ida Culver House/Ravenna....for those who live in and near Seattle. Anyway, I am at work now until 9 and as you can see I'm looking for company!! These folks for the most part are so rich with life, humor and manners. Mrs. M. was just up here at the reception desk and was her adorable self. She's new here and is a delight for all of us. I pray that I will be 1/2 as cheery as she is when I get sicker. It is truly a great place to work. My dad lived here too until he died Nov 05 just outside on the sidewalk here. I've been around lots of elderly people for years now. I was married to a man who is now 87..I lasted 22 years with him. Unfortunately, I was not as happy with an elderly husband....tho he was sweet sometimes! I told him about my illness and he was supportive and sorry - but I think he probably felt that it was God who allowed this IPF because of divorcing him. I think not! Well, now I'm not so bored - sorry to bore you all! Love, Joy 3/
