When to switch from Acyclovir to Valtrex?

We are nearing day 90 of Acyclovir with

steady gains. Our DAN wanted us to do a 6 month trial of Acyclovir – do we

continue on with this therapy or switch to Valtrex. Or do we finish out the 6

months and then give the Valtrex a trial? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks
