gosh how i love it when i am dared to do something.

as many of you may not know, dares are my specialty.

*mental head slap and mental eye roll*

denise are you listening?!?!?!?!LOL

i think denise is the only one who knew i was going out to sing karaoke

tonight. yeah ! yeah! i know it's bad for me being around the bar scene

and the smoking but sometimes a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

i had a friend who dared me to do an early 80's rock

song............and it's not that the song was hard, the hard part was

i haad 2 other songs following immediately after.

i had a friend triple dog dare me to do this one particular Pat Benatar

song, if you are not familiar with her music, she has some very long

winded songs. the song i was requested to do was Pat Benatar's " we

belong " and then i had to follow with a Mcbride's " how far " and

then Evanessance " bring me to life " .

not only was the first song difficult for me bcause of the high

notes " which i can normally hit, no problemo " but if you have ever

heard ANY a Mcbride song, you should know none of her songs are

easy to follow with the radio let along when you are doing them solo.

then the next song is a 2005 POP song, one of my daughter's favorites

and not necessarily one of mine. LOL

sing i can, on command is a whole different story. LOL

if anyone from the group cares to hear me sing, they can give me a call

at anytime. my numbers are listed in the database. what i was thinking

though, is i can give a list of maybe 5 songs and have you all vote on

one, and sing at the next phone chat.
