Transdermal Progesterone can be insidious and stay in the body longer than many realize. The archives have a lot of information. One of the more notable stories is from (wild.dingo@...) She worked with a doctor to get off the Wiley Protocol and she posted her saliva test resutls as she went through her detox period. Her results are very important as it illustrates how you must not make normal assumptions about your body if you have been using massively high doses of hormones. I found that many woman initially showed extremely low progesterone ranges in serum and saliva, and then eventually it started coming out of the tissues (we saw this in terms of massive progesterone overdose symptoms). 's documentation supports this, I believe. See her post at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rhythmicliving/message/17981Then read Dr. Fromby's very important article about progesterone at http://rhythmicliving.org/?page_id=87 Get a pen and read this slowly and carefully. Dr. Formby writes as a scientist not as a tabloid headline writer. The contents of this article are shocking if you consider the dosing of the studies and then what women take on the WP. You have to THINK to understand this article. The tool for creating advanced searches in the RL archives is at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/rhythmicliving/msearch_adv I posted many posts about my conversations with Bent Formby during the summer of 2005.Laurel
