Guest guest
I use transdermal estradiol (Estrogel), 1.5 mg/d and oral Prometrium, 200 mg x 10 days/month. If I didn't have a uterus, I wouldn't use any progesterone. It is the make-you-fat, make-you-cry hormone. I'm hoping my new dr. will have some alternatives for me, because I know I need estrogen.
Guest guest
It is amazing how differently women respond to hormones. I take twice as much estradiol and less than 1/4 the progesterone, mainly every other month. After just a few days on 100 mg oral, I lost control of my eye muscles first thing when I woke up, among other unpleasant side effects that was the scariest.
