Guest guest
Cytoxan" or (Cyclophosphamide)Do any of you good guy's know anything about this treatment and how it may I was on cytoxin for 10 months. I took it intravenously once a month. It was an all day procedure. CT scan showed a where it slowed the fibrosis down. It took all day because they give you something to protect your bladder so the cytoxin doesn't sit there and do damage to the bladder. Then you wait, then they give you something for nausea, and then wait. Then the cytoxin; wihch for me was just a gram, about the size of a sweet n low package. It does wipe out your immune system. But I was glad it slowed things down for me. I am now on Immuran (Azathioprene). May God guide you to use your time with your dad wisely. kiss kiss, Ginger E.
