Hi Everyone, I just started the Wiley Protocol and am trying to educate myself

more. I talked to my doctor about my concerns based on reading the website and

forum and he said that in the WP we adjust the dosage according to my symptoms

and reactions, so there shouldn't be a problem. He gave me a calendar to track

my symptoms.

I talked to other patients in his practice and they are very happy with the WP.

I'm still trying to educate myself and would welcome suggestions.

I have a history of chronic Lyme and chemical poisoning. Recently recovering

from a significant viral illness and gall bladder surgery, which has knocked me

for a loop. I simply have been too ill to find another doctor or to even know

what to look for.

Dr. also started me on natural thyroid, which has been helpful, but I suspect

I'm having adrenal problems as well. I had difficulty tolerating Cortef though,

but may try again when I am more healed from my surgery. My liver is very weak

and I am concerned about how it can process all these hormones and meds. Right

now it is totally knocked for a loop by the anesthesia and pain meds following

surgery.

My primary care doc insisted that I go off the thyroid for the surgery last week

(since in her mind I'm not hypo). So, I'm currently not on the thyroid but

would like to go back, perhaps after addressing adrenals more first.

I'm considering starting on half the dosage of WP for progesterone--do you think

that's a good idea?

Thanks for any feedback or input.

Marie
