Guest guest
Wow, You guys have been sharing some great info today. Shanna I live in Raleigh and we do have a hard chamber facility that just opened here that charges 150 a dive but if you buy 40 you get it for 120 a dive so 4800. How many dives do you a day? I also wanted to ask if anyone has seen gains with anxiety overall for your child with HBOT. My son now does silly talking or excessive talking and it is anxiety based. he only does it when he is a group. we also have a limited amount of foods he will eat, and I was hopingthis would get better with HBOT. So far what we has been posted was gains (nice ones too) on the hHbot and no in depth post on the soft chamber, are there any? Also guys how did your children's socialization with peers change. Shanna, I had no idea about the different protocols for yeast and bacteria, I WILL be asking all these questions at our consult next week! Thanks so much everyone, you are a wealth of info. Selena > > > > Shanna, Sorry, I forgot to ask where you go for your HBOT? Do you have a unit in your home or do you go to a facility? I read about Miracle Mountain,,,,,do you know anything about them? Thanks again! > > > > > Sandy, > We are going to Charlotte Metro Hyperbarics in Huntersville, North Carolina. You can dive with 2 kids in the tank and a parent. They have a doctor on staff that can prescribe deeper depth if necessary for Lyme, seizure, or yeast. You ONLY pay for the TANK use 1 time! So....for 90minutes each session, that is an incredible deal. Plus there is housing right near by. The owner of this one also has a daughter with autism/mitochondrial. They are all trained professionals that operate the tanks. There is an individual tank as well. My daughter is older and trustworthy enough to do that. They have video monitors on the outside of the port holes and sound pumped inside. They also have a push to talk but the people inside hear the operators really well. These tanks are very very nice! > > HTH > where are you? > > Shanna >
Guest guest
Sure - Viterais 320 from OxyHealth. We also got the cooling unit which has the hoses run through chilled water and helps keep the temp down inside. We found that without this unit, you have run your hoses through ice water (make your own bucket) to keep things cool. My sales person was great – was his name. He does the demos around at the autism conferences and is available 24/7 just about for questions. I just want to mention that for those who are seeking hard chamber, a friend of mine took advantage of a special that was run by a clinic near us – it was 40 dives for $2,000!! Try to negotiate because with this economy, some places will offer you assistance. Guest guest
We got much bigger gains from mbot, and more regression after hard chamber. i DO believe this is in part a result of him having strep, which i think was strengthened by the oxygen... he was on diflucan for most of the mhbot, but not on ny antifungal during his 30 sessions in hard chamber. our dan did not tell us about any o this, and we are kicking ourselves because we are still trying to bring back the better articulation and focus so do keep bacteria and yeast in mind. leesilsby has a product for hbot, you may want to look into it - hbot prep or something.our major gain from hbot in general was APPETITE. he wants to eat all the time now, whereas he was a picky eater prior to hbot. Guest guest
You can find many opinions on this – I recommend doing research and google the info. Dr. Neubrander and others do use soft chamber and some parents have recovered kids with this method. Some docs use both hard and soft, so you have to research and understand what you want to do. No, you must have a licensed facility to purchase a hard chamber and need permits, etc. You do need a prescription from a doc to purchase the soft chamber but most DANs would give you this. Only the soft chamber is indicated for home use. I think the price listed on the unit for sale below is a little high – I purchased mine at a slight discount and I would try to negotiate this price to around $16,000 if it were me. I have seen them on eBay at that price point if they are used. I can't afford a hard one ( it is probably not something you would have in your home). Is there a difference in results between mild and hard chamber HBOT? Guest guest
We rent 36" diameter 1.3 ATA chambers for $1,495 per month, with rent credit towards the purchase price of the chamber. We also have portable chambers starting at $4,995 for a 23" diameter 1.3 ATA chamber. We ship the chambers all over the world. You are much better off purchasing a chamber than going to a clinic for 300+ dives. Check out my web site for details - http://www.healingdives.com, or e-mail me at diane@.... Diane >> Hi everyone,> I would like advice about HBOT for my son. he has issues with cognition, fine motor, and attention. We are trying to find the key to his final issues. I am hearing so many conflicting responses on soft vs hard HBOT. I would like to hear you experience with either one and the gains and or setback you may have experienced. I just want to make the right decision as it is 150 a dive locally for hard and 2500 to rent a soft chamber and we know it will take weigh more than 40 dives to complete HBOT.> thanks in advance> Selena>
