Guest guest
oh meds oh meds how do i count the ways.........i want to throw you all in the trash. LOL let's see...... i take 10mg of prednisone (we're almost out of the woods on that one) i also take prevacid, lasix, aldectone, procardia, klor-con,NAC, over the counter calcium, vitamin C and i drink a ton of what's called Vitaminwater. it's flavored water with tons and tons of extra vitamins in it. i have tramadol and fioricet for pain when needed ( i hardly ever take thhose, i don't like the way they make me feel) and i take 20mg of ambien for sleeping (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) my son who is an asthma patient takes xopenex, flovent, zyrtec and singulair and those 4 medications for him cost more than all of mine put together per month. The supplements I take are: 1200 mgs of NAC, 50 mgs of selenium, 1000 mgs of vitamins C & E, 1000 mgs of fish oil and a woman's vitamin. I just purchased Natr-Leaf and have been debating whether or not I want to try it. It is interesting to see what other people are taking. Leanne uip 1/03 living in Bears Town. Guest guest
Hi , Long time no talk! You won't believe how great you feel once you are off the dreadful prednisone. I feel like a new person AND no night sweats!!!! Unfortunately I still have 25 of the 30 pounds I gained to lose. I thought I would add to the pill list. I am supposed to be taking fosamide ( for the damage the steroids did to my spine) but I am so distrustful of prescription meds at the moment. I am taking over the counter meds only and I absolutely swear by the oil pills I take. They are the only meds that have made a difference. This disease had wiped out my eyes-they were always dry, red and blurry and 3 of the omega 3 flaxoil pills has cured the problem. If I don't take them for a few days, my eyes quickly revert. Anyway here is my list: 1 Prenantal vitamin ( someone told me the extra minerals would help) Vitamin C ( 100 mg) Garden of Life Perfect Food ( 2 tablets) Alpha Lipoic Acid ( 300 mg Colostrum ( 500 mg) CoQ-10 ( 100 mg) Calcium ( 600 mg) Omega Nutrition EB Oil Blend capsules ( 3 to 6 a day) depending on the severity of symptoms I think wins the contest-jaime wrote: oh meds oh meds how do i count the ways.........i want to throw you all in the trash.
