Sounds odd to me; usually one receives what one has put in to Social Security,

and Parts A, B, C and D of Medicare. Love,

Medicare help

I talked to SSA today. I'll be getting a letter stating that they will help with 25% of Medicare? I may understand it better when I read the letter but does anyone know what this may mean?

Thanks,

If you can't afford your meds please check into these programs! Sometimes they will cover your co pay or your entire cost if you don¢t have insurance. Some will cover the coverage gap on Medicare Part D. You can also look for the manufacturer of the medication and then ask them if they have a patient assistance program. Please don¢t go without your meds because you can¢t afford them. Good luck!

I have A & B and Medicare part D and it was my either my part A or B that paid for my walker. I have had Medicare parts A & B since 6 months after I was approved for disability.

According to the Medicare web site, there is no part C and part B covers equipment

Part B: (covers Medicare eligible physician services, outpatient hospital services, certain home health services, durable medical equipment) *

Try to stay away from c. It has alot of things it doesn't cover, like home health and DME ssupplies and since it's HMO plan you can only go certain places and they can hold you accountable for what is not paid, just like ins. These companies are running adds on TV to get more people to switch and they don't know what they're signing up for. Some of our pt's got this and there isn't even a hospital in the area that accepts it. in TexasSharon Marsden wrote:
