I carry six portable hyperbaric chambers.

Healing Dives Mini, 23" in diameter, 7' long, 1.3 ATA/1.5 ATA, $4,995

Healing Dives Midi, 28" in diameter, 7' long, 1.3 ATA/1.5 ATA, $7,995

Healing Dives Maxi, 40" in diameter, 9' long, 1.3 ATA, $13,995

Healing Dives Vertical, 60" in diameter, 6' tall, 1.3 ATA, $27,995

Healing Dives Shallow, 36" in diameter, 9' long, 1.3 ATA, $12,900, rent-to-own for $1,495 per month

Healing Dives Deep, 34" in diameter, 9' long, 1.3 ATA/1.5 ATA, $16,900, rent-to-own for $2,675 per month

The most popular chamber for families on a budget is the Midi, since it can accommodate an adult and a child.

The most popular chamber for families who want to try a chamber before buying one is the Shallow, which is available for $1,495 per month, with rent credited towards the purchase price of the chamber.

If funds are not a concern, the most popular chamber is the Maxi, since two adults can sit up anywhere inside this chamber, with room to spare.

May - you bring up some excellent points. Here’s

how I addressed them.

1.

Always try out the chamber before you buy one. You can

just book a trial or a couple sessions with a doc’s office who has the

chamber you want to purchase. I was given a free trial for my son before

we did some treatments. THEN, I chose to rent it for a month. THEN,

I made the purchase.

2.

I agree, if the zipper is broken due to patient error, you are

probably on your own. If it is manufacturer defect, it’s probably

covered during the 1 year warranty. With OxyHealth, you can purchase an

extended warranty, but honestly, they told me that is more needed for a doc’s

office where it will see heavy use.

3.

My unit came with a DVD and explicit instruction manual.

Very user friendly. However, I have found my salesperson to be always

available for my questions. I also met him at the DAN! conference where

they were doing demonstrations, so I could ask my final questions. J

4.

I was able to purchase a ‘demo’ unit that they had

taken to a conference and only used 1 time. They offered me 15% off the

regular price – ask about this.

5.

The oxygen concentrator is sold by a separate company –

they do offer you a 50% discount if you have bought an OxyHealth chamber.

That includes shipping and a three year warranty.

6.

Changing your mind – not sure why you would do this once

you have done your homework – but I guess that’s a question you can

ask. The shipping was $400 so I would assume you would have to pay for

the return shipping also. Find out about restocking fees – I don’t

know the answer to this.

It’s great to share info between parents so we can protect

ourselves as much as possible. J

chamber for our house

This

has been my own personal experience with portable chambers for use in the

home. Please the manufacturer these questions before you lose money

and time. We puchased one for our son and ran into a lot of issues but

hindsight is 20/20.

1.

What if my child refuses to get inside the chamber? Is there a trial

period to try the chamber?

2.

What is my child breaks the zipper or I do? Does the company stand behind

its product? Sometimes it really can be a product defect and

not parents fault. Zipper breakage seems to void the warranty all

together with the majority of companies.

3.

What if we change our mind and we have not opened the box? Is there a

re-stocking fee? Does the manufacturer stand behind their product and

will accept it back?

4.

Is there support staff? Trust me, there are always questions.

5.

Are there advantages of purchasing directly from the manufacturer rather than a

third party? A lof of MD's and DC's are selling them in their

office. Not sure if they receive kick backs for referring parents?

6. Is

there an additional discount if I purchase the oxygen concentrator along with

the chamber? What if I change my mind? Is there a re-stocking

fee?
