yep, but like many triggers, it's known to be beneficial to some.

My guess is it's a stimulant, and therefore bad for adrenergic

afibbers and possibly helpful to vagal afibbers.

I don't think it's a simple as this since the heart wil still have to slow

done after being stimulated so could be a problem on the way down for vagal

folk.

I'm pretty sure I read that some research suggests it also acts as a calcium

channel blocker too. - not sure of the dosage and can't find the

link -sorry!

Almost anything can be a trigger....we are all different.

My cardiologist/EP didn't even want to talk about what

might have caused mine because he said everyone had

something different. When I work I actually drink a tea

with ginseng in it......I feel much better with it than coffee.

It does not make me any better or worse.....but keeps me

going, while coffee makes me feel worse.

I worked almost 11 hours today and drank tea at our

3 breaks... have no idea if I was still in afib or not just

real tired with aches and pains at the end.

Just remember that what works for me or you may not

be good for someone else. Just takes some experimenting.

Best wishes,
