Hi all...

Maybe somebody can clue me in... What gives with the site? It

seems I have to re-register each time - I am welcomed as a guest.

Plus I don't much care for the ads all over the place. Is there a way

around them - necessary as they probably are for Yahoo to exist.

Happy New Year Lawrence:

Unfortunately I am the Moderator with the *least* (if any!!) computer

skills. Bobby and/or should be around shortly to give you some

assistance. However, in the meantime, you might want to check out

whether or not you have registered with Yahoo and created a password,

etc. Another suggestion would be to look into the *Help* area of

Yahoo by clicking the following:

http://help.yahoo.com/help/groups/

As far as the Ads are concerned, we recognize that this could be

annoying. To eliminate the Ads, you could set your preference to

either Digest or Individual Email and sidestep the website entirely.

Stay well,

To eliminate the ads, about the only way you can do that is to filter

them with an external program. I use Norton Internet Security 2002,

which includes Antivirus, Firewall, and an ad blocker. On your login

problems, that sounds like a basic Yahoo Login problem. You may have

cookies disabled, but you say you have to re-register each time. Do you

have to pick a new username, or enter your existing one and password

each time?
