Guest guest
A total mystery for me, too. We did 120 hours of hard chamber hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 100% O2. During our second set of 40, we stepped up the pressure from 1.5 ATA to 1.75 ATA. He sweated profusely. An RN we spoke to said it could be babesia (a bacterial infection that is often seen with lyme). We ran PCR (DNA tests) for that and several other lyme " coinfections " and they were all negative. Our son's doctor though it was an indication that his hormones were being activated (e.g. rebalancing). --penumbra > Lori Knowles
Guest guest
My daughter has Babesia, Bartonella and Borrelia (Lyme Disease). The Babesia did not test positively until she had been treated for the Lyme Disease for over 8 months. There are no reliable lab tests for Lyme Disease or coinfections. They all should be clinically diagnosed, not dependent on lab tests. A Lyme Literate MD should be seen if you suspect a tick-borne disease. You can get info about doctors at Lymenet.com
Guest guest
Excessive sweating is caused by: * Lack of sulfur. Try MSM, Epsom Salt Baths, or magnesium sulfate cream? The body is trying to detox and sulfur is essential for this process. * Lack of zinc. Chelating? Or zinc deficiency? * Sweating at night is caused by PST enzyme deficiency. Eliminating all the foods with high phenolic content results in no more sweating at night and better sleep. > > I am asking for a friend. > > Does anyone have any feedback regarding this? > > > > Lori Knowles > General Manager > New Beginnings Nutritionals > 7797 Quivira Rd Lenexa, KS 66215 > Phone: > Fax: > Email: lknowles@... > URL: http://www.nbnus.com/ >

Guest guest
My 17 year old son has the sweatiest hands and feet - his hands practically drip. His feet used to stink so badly, he had to keep his shoes outside. Forcing him to wear socks helped... I accidentally discovered that lotion with epsom salts in it dried him up. I'd rub it on his shoulders and later on, his hands would be dry. Also giving him extra magnesium helps: he takes 500mg twice a day. We just started chelating and will do virals next. I'm too nervous about the whole thing to do two things at once! Sally O.

Guest guest
I find that this happens to me when I'm in deep sleep. Even if I nap in the afternoon, I sweat profusely - especially on my scalp, back of neck, and back, when I'm in deep sleep - even if it's for 20 minutes. I do feel refreshed after such a nap/sleep. I've always wondered what the significance of this deep sleep/ sweating is. My mom too has mentioned that she feels better after sweating in her sleep. She CFS symptoms just like I do. Guest guest
> he is supposed to have a DPAT shot this summmer, what am I going to do? > Can't you refuse it? I have heard that you can refuse a vaccine if your family has a history of adverse reactions or any allergy-related illness. There is also usually a religious exemption, depending on your state of course.

All doc's are supposed to know you dont' vax when a child is fighting something.
Guest guest
You always have the right to refuse treatment; it is called Patients Rights. If you already have the appt and don't want the shot (I wouldn't; it made my kid's brain swell), cancel the appt. Don't just " no show " or you may be charged.
