Guest guest
Hi Chantelle, I took that class too :-) Unfortunately doing everything by the book doesn't stop the behaviors. There is always more going on in Merediths head , and because of that, the same discipline, or even reward system doesn't work consistantly. Just like she has good days and bad days with her vision, her balance, and her hearing, she has days where I say " Boy I handled that just right, that discipline/reward worked great. " , the next day I do exactly the same thing and the tantrum, or whatever the behavior is doesn't stop. There's no consistancy to it. Sorry to admit it, but I spoil all 3 kids, but if I tell the others not to spit, or say bad things, or throw things, they stop, for whatever reason Meri can't/won't control it. I wish it was us and how we were raising the kids, then I could change what I do and help her. Take care! Audrey Dwyer, Mom to -9, Meredith-8(CHARGE), -7, and wife to Bill.
