Guest guest
Dear all, Thanks to Bill for his kind words. Bill, I feel my condition is very similar to yours. I generally go into A-fib at night or when I have a stressful situation. I'm an emotional man which means I sometimes wait for it to happen. If I concentrate on work or some activity when I feel an attack coming on it generally stays away for a short period, but it usually catches up with me when my guard is down, whilst I'm relaxing or watching t.v. It generally begins fluttering prior to a rapid heartbeat and worsens when I lie, particularly when I lie on my side. I have been afraid to go to work for three weeks because I was sent to hospital on my last occasion in my office. Is this a familiar pattern for anyone? I feel I'm close to a breakdown because this has become an obsession. My life seems to be falling apart. Sorry to ramble I just don't know who to talk to about it, none of my family or friends understand this condition and some feel it's all in my mind. There I go again. I'll stop now but would appreciate a shoulder to cry on today. .
