Guest guest
To piggyback along on this insurance discussion.... We also have been calling to verify insurance coverage on patinets. I find it very easy when they approve " x " visits. I just document that in the chart on a flow sheet and highlight the correct number of approved visits. However, I'm finding more often now that the insurance will approve " x " dollars, not " x " visits. As a service, I like to keep my patients informed, but the " total therapy cost to date " for each patinet is much more difficult for a therapist to track on a day to day basis. Is anyone else finding this a difficult hurdle?
