Please let us know what some of the issues are.

I agree the social worker can be good, but also bad. I have had my

own experiences. Dont feel like dwelling, but I think on a whole the

good outways the bad by a lot. Specialy if you find a good one. I can

ask my teacher what services may be available in the central ontario

region. She is very well connected, so if you tell me what you need,

I can find out. For anyone in Ontario, I can ask my mom to dig up the

complete curriculum guide, plus I can find lots of stuff on

education. My mom is a founder of a school, so we know tonns of

stuff! Feel free to ask me, and I will pass the question to her!

Oly.. I don't know how old you are, but that really doesn't matter.

Family not only can be blind/ but often they can't accept a serious

diagnosis. It comes too close to their mortality. They love you and

don't want to accept that anything is wrong with you. I can only

suggest getting the brochures and giving one to each of them.

Obviously, they are not willing to listen to you. They mean well..

they are just clueless. I find that having someone read about a

situation will be taken more seriously than just hearing you tell it.

Can any of them go with you to the doctor. He would explain, I'm

sure. My husband feels his life will be over if anything happens to

me. He is determined that he will " go " before me. When I try to talk

about PF, he tells me not to think about it so much. My sister is an

RN; I just told her tonight and she just said that she never really

heard of it. The " Angels " on this board are my only lifeline to speak

about my " monster " . I do believe in prayer and I love that we hold

each other up in prayer. God is in control and that is that!!! Good

luck to you.. and you may have to resort to some clever " fibs " to take

care of yourself and get them off your back. Like, Oh, I can't do that

today... I'm climbing Mount Everest. You get the idea. Love from Gale

Gale,

you may not believe this BUT.........

there were a list of things i wanted to do before i died, i had made

this list long before i ever knew about PF or EG or any other ILD.

over the summer, my family and i went cave exploring at natural

bridge caverns. i wasn't sure i was going to make it out once i got

in but i did, and now that is one thing i can scratch off that list.

also, i wanted to try rock climbing. the same place had a rock

climbing wall so me and my kids decided we were going to give it a

try. well they wouldn't let me go up with my O2 on my back so i only

made it about 40 % of the way up before i had to shoot back down. i

couldn't get that harness off fast enough to get my O2 on....but hey

i tried and that's all that mattered to me.

my next adventure is going to be hot air balloon riding........don't

know when that will be because it is very very expensive to do here

in Houston, but one day.......soon i hope.

You guys are sooooo cool. I haven't made a list. I kinda feel like I've already done it all. Winning the lottery would be fun (like that is going to happen {I don't even play}). List? Who else has a list.. give me some great ideas.. but, remember, I am looking for cheap thrills. HA HA Gale in TX
