Guest guest
I have recently increased my son's doses of enhansa and I have noticed he is grinding his teeth throughout the day. Does anyone have any suggestions of what is going on and what may help? Thanks
Guest guest
I am not sure what causes the teeth grinding but our daughter was doing it and it stopped after giving her enhansa and has not come back. I wonder if the enhansa is killing/aggravating something and the die off is releasing toxins that are causing the teeth grinding. So, the die off reaction might be a good thing.I can tell you also that when we ramped up the dose of enhansa on our son he looked and acted the worst he has ever been since starting the biomedical treatments for several days to a week and then he started to come out of it and got better than ever. I think enhansa is pretty potent so you might want to decrease the dose and see if you can increase more slowly and avoid the teeth grinding.Good luck.Subject: Grinding teeth and increased the dose of EnhansaTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Friday, May 22, 2009, 8:50 PM I have recently increased my son's doses of enhansa and I have noticed he is grinding his teeth throughout the day. Guest guest
I was told teeth grinding is from yeast infection. My daughter grinds her teeth at night and I do too. The Enhansa is very potent and your childs reaction is probably a die off. Give it a couple of days and your child's body should adjust. Next time up the dosage more slowly. We are up to 600mg per day. I was increasing very slowly. ) Mother to 5 wonderful kids! > > > Subject: Grinding teeth and increased the dose of Enhansa > To: mb12 valtrex > Date: Friday, May 22, 2009, 8:50 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have recently increased my son's doses of enhansa and I have noticed he is grinding his teeth throughout the day. Guest guest
Teeth grinding can also present itself originally as a negative reaction to supplements and homeopathics, not only yeast. My daughter grinded her teeth when she took lithium orotate. It stopped when I stopped giving her the supplement. Then about a year later, I tried her on the same supplement again, and it returned. Even her chiropractic neurologist noticed that it had returned. It was that pronounced. Guest guest
Hi. I have notaced that i completly loose control of my jaw if i go to rest after eating yeast, fungi, vinager, glutamate but also wheat but to a lesser extent. It starts moving back and fro and i really can not control it. It is quite scary. My brain also feels like it is knocked back or like my head is falling backwards. As i have understood it the " falling " feeling can be because of spasms in the blood vessles of the brain, the same thing that happens to people when they stop SSRI's too fast. Before i went on a no-yeast etc diet i used to grind teeth but i dont anymore. Maybe there could be a connection there too. I just dont know how it can be fit in with your supplement. Maybe the yeast is killed off and travels to the brain where the same thing happens. I dont know but thought i should tell you. Maybe there is a way to strengthen the blood-brain barrier? I know B12 is needed for it but i have to look up more on it. > > > > From: pinkandgreen89 <pinkandgreen89@> > > Subject: Grinding teeth and increased the dose of Enhansa > > To: mb12 valtrex > > Date: Friday, May 22, 2009, 8:50 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have recently increased my son's doses of enhansa and I have noticed he is grinding his teeth throughout the day. Guest guest
Thanks . He is 4 yo and he doesn't particularly like to put things in his mouth. So unless it is the few food items he like he won't chew them. His SLP suggested bagels and steak as they are chewy give him an opportunity to work his jaw area. Thanks again Theresa V. Which means he had a few that have gone untreated. Maybe the enhansa is stirring stuff up and it is aggravating his ears. Do you have chewy tubes? Or other chewy toys. My son loves these, really helps him with the aggravation and calms him.
