Heidi,

Thanks SO much for posting this! , thank you for sharing your story with

us!!! You both are such a HUGE inspiration to all of us!

I have a 12 year old that I hope to recover. We've been on the biomed path for 8

years. We're about 75 - 80% there, but I'm waiting for that last 20 - 25 % to

happen. This clip has given me renewed hope. Heidi, when you get a chance,

please do post what other interventions (in what order) and what dosages helped

recover . Thanks in advance!

Can you please tell me the name of your DAN doctor and where he is located? It's

because I'm looking for a good DAN doctor for my own daughter.

Thanks,

Uzma:

If you want a good DAN, look for one who knows how to treat pleomorphic bacteria of lyme, syphilis, Bartonella or mycoplasma fermentans. When you concentrate on this being the base problem, then odds are you will have good success. A good doctor is part of the issue, but you also want a doctor that fits your understanding and expenses. I actually know a doctor that takes Medicaid that has a good reputation. I also heard of a nutritionist that supposedly has recovered hundreds with autism. Thus, it doesn't have to be a DAN, because the best that I know are not DAN's. But, anyhow, list your location and what you like, for example, are you interested in using insurance and prescriptions or rather pay cash and do herbs. I know this sounds weird to most, but I rather pay cash and do herbs because I don't have the patience to beg for referrals, prescription renewals, testing, etc. Insurance companies have all these rules that drive me crazy, and I avoid using prescriptions. My best advice is to look up naturopaths and get a Zyto done. This will give you a head-start on what are the base problems. Then find doctors in your area that are good with those issues. An autism forum that is local to your area is a good place to learn of local doctors and then also, generationrescue.org has parents locally that can tell you about doctors and services. I was the driver of my kids recovery, using information found on this Internet, so I can not say go to 's doctor, he's good. was recovered before his "famous" DAN recovered his son, and basically, I moved on from him a while back. I just use a local regular doctor here and there for testing.

If you were to look on a list of DAN doctors, call them and make sure they know of the important connection with pleomorphic bacteria, as in how to test and that it takes long-term treatment. If they are knowledgeable in this, than that may be a good choice.

Love and prayers,

Heidi N
