I went to a conference last March in Malta, NY where Stan Kurtz was one of the speakers. The info blew my mind, I left there wanting to help my son but was so confused on where to start. I started mentioning it to his teachers and pcp and did not get the excited response that I was feeling at the time. I realized that I could'nt rely on them for morale back up and encouragement. I need to find a DAN doctor in my area (upstate NY) to start. Also my son is nine, was just mainstreamed in his class with a one on one aid and has special ed for math, reading, and occupational therapy and speech. He is doing better cognitively, but socisl appropiateness and outbursts,(squeals and paceing) are high. I dont have him on any bio-med treatment yet except frozen acai berry pulp(he loves it) for the high natural omegas. I would love any info on doctors and where to begin. Thanks Teri
