When I first recived my degree, I worked in Child Protection. Saw things that has never left my memory. Went back to school, got my Masters Degree in Social Worker and a license for counseling. Mainly worked in Long Term Care Facilities, usually focusing on families and their ability/inability to

accept & cope. I finally was no longer able to walk to patients rooms without getting so badly out of breath and I quit work for good in July. I miss work so much. It does seem like alot of us are in the health care industry. Interesting.... out of curiosity........ i was just wondering what type of work everyone did/does?i, myself worked with dementia patients for 7 yrs.....guess that's why i am the way i am. lol too much of it rubbed off on me. (teehee) and no comments from the p-nut gallery peggy sue. loli worked 4 yrs as a prison guard in a maximum security all male facility. elayan hunt correctional center in st gabriel Louisiana.because we only worked 14 days a month i had my job still with my dementia patients on my days off.when i moved to Texas, I went to work for the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice.........as a prison guard.........and very shortly afterwards, i told them exactly where they could put their confederate grey uniform because they weren't paying me nearly enough for what they were asking us to do.then i went into

retail for 3 yrs and the automotive industry,....but behind a desk mostly. which is where i stayed until i could no longer climb the stairs in the building.......now i do, um, NOTHING.i know denise is a teacher, we all know what Leanne is....a big mouth. hehehehe just kidding. teri's husband Jon works for the dept. of defense after retiring from the military...if sher wasn't a counselor, heaven knows she should have been.........joyce, peggy and ginger should have been spiritual healers....and maybe they will be in another lifetime.we have always called my husband the walking webster and his mom the rolling webster.....those 2 people are so full of absolutely useless information. it's not even funny. never attempt to play trivia pursuit with them, you'll get your ass kicked everytime. lol P needs a nickname similar to that, only his information is very useful. :) EG

10-05 Joy (IPF 3/06) Today is a gift for each of us. Enjoy it.
