Go to their website and they provide very specific ramp up instructions. The stuff is strong so I suggest sticking to their dosing without accelerating. They will provide you with 2 dosing spoons as well. We're in wk 3 and have endured 2 sicknesses already, but I know it's just his system waking up. The only thing that has ever helped to lessen and some days eliminate the obsession with doors is to treat for yeast by not giving him any grains at all and minimizing sugars from fruit. Diflucan used to help also but seems to have lost its potency for our son.The two natural products that have helped tremendously for us are Enhansa (or probably any good turmeric) and GSE. The Enhansa got rid of his big round belly and caused all kinds of junk to come out in his BM and I think it has made the GSE and probiotics more effective. Massive amounts of probiotics help for us too. I have heard other people have really good results using sacharomyces boulardi with success too. Also, we thought maybe the water and door stims might also be somewhat visual stim in nature so we give him about 5000IU to 10000IU of Vitamin A a day when he is really stimmy and that also seems to help. But the vitamin A seems to cause yeast flare up as well so we make sure to use Enhansa and GSE when using vitamin A.Also, after starting all of the above supplments with our son everything gets worse for a while which sucks because you never know if it is a die off reaction or allergic reaction. But we stuck with this program for a coupled weeks and eventually things got a LOT better and his stimming is much less now. Overall he looks better and is talking and interacting better too. But it is tough during the die off phase.Good luck. From: jennriaz <jennriazyahoo (DOT) com>Subject: Help! To: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. comDate: Thursday, June 25, 2009, 3:00 AMHi Everyone,I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me with. My 4 year old son just finished his first year of prek. We are having many issues with stimming and OCD behaviour. he takes strings of any kind and pulls them over door knobs to form a straight line. if you try to interupt this at all he throws a massive tantrum. also dumping liquids out of any cup her sees , coffee etc and massive paper eating and chewing on EVERYTHING. Sometimes he wakes up in the moring and bounds out of bed and starts opeing and slamming his closet doors over and over. He has made huge strides in speech over the past year and is doing really well but the behaviours seem to be getting worse and I dont know what to do to help his concentration level. One of his major issues in school was concentration and being able to stay on task with out wandering off or the teachers having to prompt him for everything. Does anyone have any suggestions? He was on a probiotic before but he seemed to go crazy after starting it.. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! !!!!thanks, mother to Christian, 4yr old with ASD.yshortcuts { font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10px; font-weight: normal; } #ygrp-msg p a { font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10px; } #ygrp-mlmsg a { color: #1E66AE; } div.attach-table div div a { text-decoration: none; } div.attach-table { width: 400px; } --> l>
