Guest guest
Hi I hope that you all made it through the big eating day without exploding. I am on the verge. I did most of the cooking and I was so proud of myself. My oldest daughter helped me a lot. I am always so happy when I can push through a day that seems overwhelming to me. I am full, tired and happy all at once. We were going to start our Christmas decorating today. We looked at one another and said.."nah, don't think so." Maybe tomorrow. God bless us all.Hugs, Joyce PF 1997 Bronchiectasis 2004 INDIANA

Guest guest
doncha just hate the lights???????? thanksgiving day we spent 6 hours getting all of our brand new lights up and about.....was beautiful that night, only one string has worked since and i be danged if i am taking it all back down to find maybe one bad bulb.........yeah right. lol i'm good, but not that good. then my kids were like " why you putting up all them lights and stuff?? " they could care less about that. lol but all of the really lil kids in our neighborhood (which are alot) enjoy them. that's why we do it....not for ourselves but for the other kids in our neighborhood. EG 10-05 ps........i have to tell you about the ugly tree. lol one of my neighbors gave ashli and nick a lil christmas tree, about 18 inches tall i guess. ashli decided she was gonna decorate it and put it in her room. well she made some decorations out of colored foam, and hung a few colored balls on it.........that thing was so ugly she wouldn't even put it in her room. lol but she hung it outside in another tree for the world to see. DUH! lol but she made it and i aint taking it down. goofy kid. lol i thinki even got a picture of it somewhere........i'll have to check my camera. > > LOL, We have a fiberoptic tree and if I am feeling festive I put red bows or > red bulbs on it.. > What a difference from a few years ago.. > Love and Prayers, Peggy 9/04 ipf > > Joyce...our decorations amount to what I put on the coffee table and dining > table. Guest guest
Hi all, Had a great Thanksgiving. We host every year. Mike cooks the turkey outside in the bbq grill and we get a fresh turkey. Yum! I just pace myself. Like Joyce, I was proud of myself too. I made it! I was tired, but not too tired. Was experiencing a bit of the blues. I miss my mom and dad this time of year and my mom in law is in a nursing facility working hard to get herself out of there. She went through a nasty batch of chemo for leukemia ended up having a heart attack and has to relearn a few things. But, she's a trooper and we are hoping and praying she'll be able to join us for Christmas. Love to all of you. LeannePeggy wrote: I am feeling like the poppin dough boy.. Guest guest
Peggy, you're right...what a difference. If I'm energetic...haha... I put some little something on the front door, like a wreath. Oh well. It is what it is. We had a good T day with Lysa and family. Brought goodies home and finally had to pitch some. We couldn't eat it all. My granddaughter, Hannah and I are 'going out' today. She is 15 and the love of my life. Have a good day girlfriend. Luv. Guest guest
Now THAT is more my speed. LOL!!! So sorry about the book coming back. I've been so excited waiting for it. I just figured I was being impatient with our "snail mail" system. I'll get the address to you. Thanks for letting me know. There is a very good possibility I gave you a mixed up number. I'm as dyslexic as they come. >> Joyce...our decorations amount to what I put on the coffee table and dining table. Wheeeeeee!
