Guest guest
My son (4 yo) has been seeing Dr. G for almost a year now and is going through the protocol with great results. A few months back I was speaking with Dr. G's office manager about how tired I was, losing my memory, concentration (just thought it was part of being a mom) and she said I was describing similar symptoms of CFD. Long story short, Dr. G ran some blood work and my HHV-6 levels were highly elevated and slight elevation for Epstein-Barr. He said, " I don't think you have full-blown CFD, however you're operating on 3 wheels instead of four " . I too began the anti-viral/anti-fungal. He now wants to put me on an SSRI to " increase cognitive function " . Although my son is on it, I am hesitant to put myself on it. It's not anything to do with taking an SSRI, I'm just already on so many medications (thyroid [had thyroid CA 2 yrs ago], cholesterol, beta- blocker [heart palpitations-may be related to thyroid levels]PLUS Dr. G's protocol, that would make 6 meds daily! Does anyone have any comments/opinions-or personally been through this as an adult?
