Leo,

This may be the drugs you are taking. Most AF medicine will lower your blood

pressure.

Also and this is a guess it be as your heart has been working hard when in

AF the blood pressure may drop when it rights itself. Verapamil is one of

the drugs that I am thinking of.

Lastly my thoughts will be with you on the 12th September.

Good luck

Last night I had an intense episode of AF for about 5 hours. I

desperately wished myself to go to sleep, which finally happened. When I

woke I took my blood pressure and found it to be 123/46, with a pulse of 54

(regular). Has anyone else had such low pressures after an episode of AF?

I am rescheduled for another pulmonary vein ablation on Sept 12.

Sure hope it works this time.

Leo, I saw a pulse of 50 or so looking over my doc's shoulder at

thirty day montior stuff, and she said no sweat, during sleep that

often happens. Possibly lower bp 46 is not unusual, I dunno, during

sleeping. The higher the dose of beta blocker I am on, the lower my

blood pressure. I have noticed the lower number in the 50s during

hte day or an uncomfortably high dose.
