You were not wrong in posting what you have said – you were posting your experiences only. All experiences should be discussed from all points of view. You don’t have to try everything because it’s the latest and greatest treatment – everyone needs to do what they can afford and what they think will give the most bang for the buck. Rushing out and doing everything might not serve a good purpose – for me, I want to run but I know I need to take the time to understand all treatments before I decide to embark on any of them.

I think your point was to say don’t try everything – see what works first and that’s what I tell everyone you need to read a lot of books and try to figure out what might work best – for my son, I never suspected he was viral since he was not vaccinated. You just never know until you read and do some initial lab testing.

I appreciated your insight – thank you!! Will help me to help others!

I think you missed the point. I didn't say epsom salt baths are bad, just that they did not do any good for my son. If they work for you I'm glad. I was just trying to say I tried 100 things and in retrospect it was too much. If I had it to do again I would not have been so obsessed. I usually had a feeling when something was working and an opposite feeling when it wasn't. I wish I had trusted that more.

Dr. Kartzinel instructed me to give my son B-12 injections while he was sleeping. He said a lot of kids never wake up because the needle is so thin (the same size a diabetic uses). I think it is possible that this could have worked, but my son is such a light sleeper it didn't for us, and there was no way in hell he was going to let me do it when he was awake. Again, if it works for you I am very happy. I would try it again now that my son is older, but I have no more credit, and the money is not there.

My son was just accepted into the gifted program at the middle school he attends. He is still autistic, but very high functioning. I think some of the things we did may have contributed to that, but I'm not sure. I am declaring bankruptcy and have nothing saved for his future. There are pros and cons to the long term financial and emotional costs. It is possible he would be much more severely impaired if we had not tried these things, but I honestly can't say for sure. I do know that the fear and desperation I felt as I added charge upon charge did not help.

I won't post on this anymore because we not actively using biomedical treatments anymore other than digestive enzymes. I just wanted to share that guilt driven spending has its price. Some symptoms will just fall away with time, maturity, and replacing perseverations with newer interests. Listen to your gut. You usually know what is working and what is just accumulating interest. My list was only meant to illustrate how many frogs I kissed looking for a prince before I realized the frog is kinda cute anyway.
