Guest guest
i was on tambacor for over 13 yrs. with fairly good success. it can be a little rough at the beginning and you should check this out with your cardio. if it works, it's great. good luck, max AFIBsupport wrote: > Hi.. I just started taking Flecainide, 100 mg a day and was wondering what sort of side effects people have had. I am chronic a-fib, I have gone through 1 cardioversion, to no avail. I am currently taking Coumandin(6 mg), Atenolol and Cardiziem. I was taking Paxil for depression, but I had to stop taking that because of the interaction it can have with the Flecainide. Today I noticed what I thought was fluttering, which is usually controlled with the meds I am taking. Also lightheadedness today. thanks for any reply Jess Web Page http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AFIBsupport For more information: http://www.dialsolutions.com/af Post message: AFIBsupport Subscribe: AFIBsupport-subscribe Unsubscribe: AFIBsupport-unsubscribe List owner: AFIBsupport-owner
Guest guest
I've been on Tambocor for almost six years. It works well for me. Once you get used to any visual disturbances you might have, you hardly notice them. The only other effects I experience is a little lightheadedness that I attribute to the beta blocker I take along with it. Jess, I am wondering if discontinuing paxil is producing sone temporary withdrawal effects such as lightheadedness. When I discontinued ativan, another psych med, I had a number of problems, including a fluttering feeling in my chest or throat that I thought for sure was my heart, but it turned out when I felt my pulse (and I also caught it several times on a heart monitor) my heart was fine - in normal sinus. Guest guest
Trudy- I have feeling some wierd effects, lightheadedness, unable to concentrate etc and most of this is probably due to the ending of the Paxil. Sometimes my heart feels like it acing, but my pulse is within my normal range. The cardiologist knew this...I am giving it time > > Jess, I am wondering if discontinuing paxil is producing sone > temporary withdrawal effects such as lightheadedness.
