One (1) year ago today I started Dofetilide/Tikosyn at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina. For the benefit of our newcomers, after a history of permanent Afib, except for one ten hour episode in August, I went into NSR after the second dose of Dofetilide on October 10th and have been in NSR since. I have eliminated coffee, chocolate, wine, alcohol, carbonated soda, eat very little meat, drink lots of water, dance, work out at a gym three (sometimes four) times a week, and make use of relaxation tapes. I take a few interesting trips a year, and most of all, I have a loving, supportive family of three daughters, three sons-in-law and nine beautiful grandchildren - all within a 15 mile radius of my home. The good friends I have made in our SupportGroup are priceless. I could not have gotten through the many bad times, as well as good times, without them.
