Guest guest
, We really appreciate our arrangement and are definitely glad that it works for us. I stayed home with our older son for the first 2 years of his life and cherish that time. We grew and stay very close. When it was decided that I would be the one to work outside the home, I was really worried that the kids would consider me the " other parent, " and I didn't want that, or the jealousy that would probably come with it. So far, I've learned that whatever the situation, kids really need their mommy and my heart swells when I walk through the door and the babies start squealing and thrusting their arms out for me to hold them. Aubree is more of a daddy's/brother's girl and after our initial hug and tickle, is content to be put back on the floor to roll around or in her Exersaucer. Ethan is definitely a Momma's boy and will snuggle into my chest for a good half hour after I get home, then wants to tumble and play with me after he's had is close momma time. OOOOHhhhhhh I love my kiddos. All three of them, including my sometimes attitude challenged, soon-to-be 14 yr old. I'm a lucky momma.
