OT: alternative remedies for acid reflux and indigestion

Dr. McCandless and all,

I was just wondering if anyone onlist has gone through alternative tx for acid

reflux, heartburn and indigestion. I'm experiencing this, went to my GP who

suggested Prilosec....but I want to try some natural remedies....not fond of

drugs as the first resort. I'm planning on starting digestive enzymes to begin

with, but don't know what else to use. Any suggestions?? Dr. McCandless any

kind suggestions???? just so you know, I also get this feeling as if there's

some obstruction in my throat. I'd appreciate any input...I hear that if

untreated it can lead to severe consequences. Thanks a million!
