Guest guest
Friends I just have a few comments to share- just to let you guys know and remember different things work for different people. One is I hated digoxin and had to go off it- it gave me palpitations and pounding in my chest. It made me feel weird and even raced my heart rate. My doctor took me off of it and we always remember I am not a patient who should ever consider digoxin. Secondly I drink FRESH squeezed orange juice and often container orange juice everyday and it never puts me in a fib. I was zapped over 3 weeeks ago and have had orange juice (and just the other day grapefruit juice) everyday since- no problems, not for me anyway. However, I find smoothies to cause me many many PAC's and that could sometimes put me in AF. I think my point is that we can never forget that EVERYONE is truly DIFFERENT and an individual! Good luck! Ronnie

It made me feel weird and even raced my heart rate. About half an hour after I first took the digoxin, I suddenly felt faint and started sweating like a pig, and my pulse was very fast. It happened twice more in the next half hour, only not as bad. This is not a usual occurence for me, so it is one of the things I plan to ask the doc about on Monday. I did call into the doc on call, because the first event was really scary, but his nurse is horatia at the gate and poopooed it. I really like my doc a lot, but that other doc who is on call is not good - I've had occasion to call him previously and he never returned the call. Makes me feel like there is no after hours coverage, another thing I should ask her about.
