I don't worry about the waste either. I figure I'd still be paying extra for " fancy " vitamins anyway, so it all evens out. And like , I just throw them all out at the beginning anyway. With regard to bread, if you do a any baking, The Gluten Free Pantry has a nice sandwich bread/pizza dough mix that uses white rice flour, tapioca flour, potato flour, etc., and no brown rice.
