Guest guest
Don't know what if I will be on amiodarone much longer. Went to the eye clinic today for a check-up because I have had problems with blurry vision for a while. I have corneal deposits, crystalline deposits and possibly macular changes. My optic nerves are healthy which is the only good thing. Have to talk to the cardiologist on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday in the US) and see what they say. Boy, was sure hoping to avoid this. Has anyone else had this and how did they fair after going off the amiodarone. Does it get better? Anyway, thanks for all the information you have provided. It helps when you are worried about the meds you are on to know others have experience and can tell you theirs. Thanks in advance.
Guest guest
Yes, I too had those yellow crystals or film in the eyes. I'm starting to feel that four years on amiodarone was four years too long. On the bright side, Terry Cummings plays in the NBA and takes cordarone...he has played for about ten years. I wouldn't be surprised if VP Cheney was taking cordarone. He hasn't had a recurrence in about three months. Lest we forget, it is effective.
