Guest guest
Hi group and Dr. JM- From your book " Their Starving Brains " 4th edition, you mention supplementing with amino acid by Klaire labs supplements, Klaires Complete Amino Acid powder pg 118. My concern and question is regards to the L-glutamine in it -which I understand can turn into glutamate a neurotoxicin in some people with neurodegenrative disease, i.e; AlS, Parkinsons and MS. What about autistic kids, does the L-Glutamine which breaks down into Glutamate harm some of these kids. It is a debate that I have researched to the best of my ability. I certainly do not what to increase the ammonia level circulating in his blood stream with the large increase of glutamine intake. Glutamine is in foods we eat too, but it is in most Amino Acid supplements. What are your thoughts?
