Sensory issues relating to the mouth

Hi,

My 15 year-old ASD girl pushes her upper front teeth upwards and presses her

lower front teeth downwards with her fingers everytime she gets a meltdown. Does

anyone else have the same experience with their kid ?

I am wondering if this could be an OT issue ( since her teeth are in very good

condition - no dental problems at all ) and how I can help my daughter when she

becomes so distressed.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

Judy
