Due to recent physical changes in my nine and a half year old, it seems that she

will be starting her periods soon. How do you deal with this? Periods can be

traumatic, even for non ASD kids so I can't imagine what it would be like for

ASD girls.I would be grateful to know how any of the parents on this group have

dealt with this. It really frightens me as my daughter is childlike; a really

innocent little girl. Is there any " natural " way to postpone this or would it

mean medication? Or is it best just to let nature run it's course?
