Guest guest
Sharon... I appreciate you asking that question. It is what I have been thinking myself. Let's face it...nothing stands alone in Washington. If this is included in the Iraq War funding that includes a troop pull-out date then of course he is going to veto it. Similarly with the SCHIP funding veto...he is not vetoing the good part...he is vetoing the parts he doesn't agree with and without the line item veto, the entire bill must be rejected. It is unfortunate that CAA funding is being vetoed...but until I hear otherwise I will believe it is only because it is part of something else. In a message dated 11/15/2007 9:40:37 A.M. Guest guest
, That is what I was wondering also. Being he signed the CAA act, he can't be against that specifically. I hate the way they try to slip bad things in with good things. It makes it difficult for the good things to pass. -Sharon ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
