Guest guest
Tammy....Thanks. You know, I've never told anyone about that stuff accept here? Of course in the past I've made vague references to my " unusual " teen years spent riding racehorses, freight trains, living on Indian Reservations and things. Must sound 'romantic' to the uninitiated but the truth is I'd of much rather been freakin' " home " . Doing what " normal " teenagers do. It's taken a year in therapy just to work up to it... A year ago my shrink told me about UBM so I stopped by the bookstore just to look, and had to buy it. Bcs, like you, I found myself crying. Also, like you, I found I had to put the book down for sometimes a month or more at a time -- it was, sometimes is, just too much for me to handle. Not weird about trying to rescue stray animals. I betcha we all do that bcs we can empathize more keenly than the average kid. And your nada requiring you to take strays to the pound but letting brother keep his ...ugg. And the denigration campaigns. Weird thing is they're so good at it, everyone believes them. --Reality used to be a friend of mine ~daphne > > > Wow Daphne, > > Reading your post really struck a cord with me.
