Thank you for allowing me to join your group. This is new to me. I found out last year that I had a hyper thyroid disease. I was having this problem of being tired all the time but did not know that my body was going to shout down on me. I work at a hospital and people thought that I might had the flu because my body was hurting and I had the shakes like I was cold. I went to the ER on a Friday the doctor sent me home with a heart monitor because my heart rate was up. Went back on Monday a NP but me in the hospital and told me it was my thyroid because he can tell that my neck was swollen. I spent a week in the hospital in January and another week in February. I live in Texarkana,Tx and we don't have a Diagnostic Clinic or docs that specialize with thyroid disease. We mostly see Internal Medicine docs for this problem. To make the story short, I ended up going to Lt. Rock. I had two

treatment of that radiation pill. One in March, it did not work, and one in October, it worked, now am Hypo. Am at rock bottom. I found this out when I was seeing a doctor about my eyes for Graves Disease. I went to an IM doc he put me on Levothyroxin. I started having a bad reaction to it. My tongue and throat was feeling swollen when I wake up in the morning. So I called Lt. Rock and they changed it to Synthroid and the same thing started happening again. Now I have to go to Lt. Rock on the 12th for some lab work. I have been with out medication since Oct. of last year. Am a 33 year old single mom and I attend to Texarkana College. I don't have any close family here. My mom lives about an hr. away. This has been a lot on my plate for me to take. But am taking it day by day and I have the lord on my side. I know this is a lot to read but I did try to make it short. If any one else have any comments please email me and I
