Guest guest
Hello all, Was banded on 12th Oct by Dr Oliver Florica at Hawkesbury Private (he does most of his patients at the SAN). I have fill no. 3 next week and have only lost 6 - 8kg so far (incl. going to the gym 4 x a week). I feel that is too slow. Doc was pleased though after last visit 4 weeks ago. Took a month to recover (needed 3 weeks off work as also had hernia repairs so pain was soooo much worse than expected). I am surprised how much I can still eat - although since last fill I have experienced the PB thing (the worst one was with grilled fish at a restaurant - completely ruined my night and a huge waste of an expensive meal as I'd only had a few bites of fish). Struggling with what food to eat for lunch at work as I can't tolerate bread at all. Not eating much fruit (I was never a big fruit eater) and finding salad hard to digest. Being a previous food lover I am finding no pleasure in food at all which I suppose is the idea but has killed my social life. Am I slower than average with the weight loss? Thought it would be easier than it has been. Thanks fellow banders.... Ness
