Guest guest
I *think* that this means that they will be more capable to specifically identify the viruses that are active in our kids. I'm not sure what that would mean regarding any change in their treatment... in the short term, I guess it would depend if there were a safe way to treat those viruses that was something we weren't already doing, such as Valtrex and Famvir. Guest guest
Caroline I think you are right on with this, and so it would then mean that 1.they can prove there is one/multiple viral problems in " A " kids, and 2. develop treatment and target the virus. > > I *think* that this means that they will be more capable to specifically > identify the viruses that are active in our kids. Guest guest
I can add my uneducated thoughts too . I think it will help w/ identification like Caroline, and that if studies are done comparing typical controls w/neuroimmune disorders, autism, CFS, epilepsy, and such, show the presence of viral loads in these illnesses and compare to normal controls. Judging from him saying " what we've known for 20 years " - which I believe (and I'm only guessing) is that chronic viral infection is present in these cases but has just been too difficult to prove in an absolute enough manner w/out sufficient tools. I got the impression that so far his treatment and ideas won't even change - it'll simply be a tool to show the medical world. ? --- Caroline Glover <sfglover@...> wrote: > I *think* that this means that they will be more > capable to specifically > identify the viruses that are active in our kids. > I'm not sure what that > would mean regarding any change in their > treatment... in the short term, I > guess it would depend if there were a safe way to > treat those viruses that > was something we weren't already doing, such as > Valtrex and Famvir. > > Caroline > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Need a vacation?
