Courage:

My mom's doctor has talked to her - repeatedly I've just learned - to

no avail. She's a stubborn one and thinks she knows her body better

than her doctor. Given her history, I'm not so sure.

Thanks for posting. Is everything OK? I haven't read all of your

posts but I sense you're sad...

I'll keep reading just to see if all is OK..

Abby

I think you know how much I wish this wasn't true for you and for

Max. I could tell that you this was best given how much pain he must

have been in but I don't really mean it at this point even if it is

true.

Please believe that I'm joining in the group hugs that are going your

way. While I'm not always the most religious person, I do believe in

the spirit of those we love never leaving us. As corny as that

sounds it truly is the only way to cope with loss and death.

I'm crying along with you. Many, many hugs to you my friend,

Abby

" It's been proven that the only effective way to deal with fear is to walk through it, through the pain that accompanies doing something you're afraid to do. It takes courage to fulfill your commitments, courage to stay on track, courage to follow your dreams, courage to reach your goals, and courage to walk through your fear. Remember, reaching goals is not so much about doing big things when the feeling hits you; it's more about doing little things every day that move you toward your dream. It's about staying steady and on course. "
