Guest guest
I am seeing Dr. R next week. My not so dear husband is having issues with taking off so much time to travel from Houston to Lubbock twice. As a typical man he doesn't understand why I need someone there to hold my hand. Hmmm! He has already forgotten the last time I tried a new dr. and came home and cried for hours and his promise to be there with me and I quote " even if it means going to see this new dr. in Lubbock'. So, if I do let him not go with me, which visit should I get him to go to? The 1st or the 2nd? I know the 1st visit is me giving lots of info. to the dr. and the 2nd visit is Dr. R giving me a game plan. Sorry if I sound a little upset. Any advice would be appreciated. \._,___ -- CauleyHome Cell
Guest guest
Hi, , I'm hoping that was just an insensitive moment on his part. From my own experience, it wasn't optional. I was so brain fogged I couldn't have gotten there on my own. I see this as a real turning point in your health and would think he'd want to be there. If he will, get him to go both times. If you have to make a choice I think the first time would be more important. You'll be more comfortable the second time. JMHO, he's being a jerk! Hope it's only temporary.
