Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could let me know where I could find articles or information describing nons-- especially children of borderline parents. Chapters in books, etc would be very helpful as well. I keep reading some really good information-- about 'self' issues with nons, etc, but I am never able to remember where I got it. I want to pass it along to some people in my life who don't seem to 'get' the situation. Somehow I think labels like 'codependent', 'enmeshed' and 'parentified' just do NOT even nearly define the situation or the issues due to things that happened as I was growing up and even in my earlier adulthood. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi , Hmmm, they could sign on and read the archives to this list. We're the pathfinders, list-wise. For the general principles of BPD, the book is SWOE (see footer); and, the book specifically about KOs is " Understanding The Borderline Mother " (UBM) by Ann Lawson that was published in the year 2000. Also, there's another new book out, just out for KOs, called " Surviving A Borderline Parent: How to Heal Your Childhood Wounds & Build Trust, Boundaries, and Self-Esteem " (2003) by Roth and Friedman. Roth and Friedman will be happy to answer any questions that KOs want to ask. I think Randi will be setting that up soon - like a question-of-the-month thing. - Edith scoutbonon@... wrote: > Hi, > > I was wondering if anyone could let me know where I could find articles or > information describing nons-- especially children of borderline parents. > Chapters in books, etc would be very helpful as well.
