Just checked, yep, all done correctly. . . Nsorry I've never used windows fax, there's a setting on paperport that you have to toggle on - cleverly enough it says 'receive fax to PC' otherwise they just pass through as paper.did you do this?  To set Microsoft Fax to receive faxes, click Start, choose Control Panel, click Printers And Other Hardware, and click View Installed Printers Or Fax Printers. Right-click the Fax icon and choose Properties; in the dialog box that appears, click the Device tab, the Properties button, and the Receive tab. Select the Enable Device To Receive box. - Not sure I can help, seems like the basics are covered. Maybe someone who is truly an expert can chime in.If you want to waste more time ( and I suppose this may fix it) install the brother scansoft program that comes with the hardware to see if that will turn it on. It's a great little program, just a versatile with document managment (well maybe more versatile and less buggy) than updox.This is the kind of thing I remember eating up hours and hours of time the first few years - until I wised up and bought a 4 pack of Dell per incident support.
