Guest guest
Hi Winter for Primarolo Sorry for the delay in getting this out but other things have had to take precedence. I have finally had a reply on behalf of Dawn Primarolo. Note the words ‘on behalf of’ she has not replied herself, as you will see it is the usual drivel and dross, perhaps she does not know the answer, and so passed it on to one of her underlings. Have a read and see what you think, I shall be writing to Winters, along with visiting the DIUS Site to see what and ask what it is they actually do or intend to do, unless anyone else knows. Our Ref TO00000237749 14 September 2007 Dear Mr Wainwright Thank you for your further letter of 3 September about research into chronic fatigue syndrome and myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME). As I am sure you will appreciate, Ms Primarolo receives a large amount of correspondence and it is not possible for her to answer every letter personally. Your letter has been passed for me to reply. I am sorry that you are unhappy with <Ms Primarolo’s letter of 20 July (our ref: PO0000217465). However the information given to you is the most up to date and accurate available and there is nothing further I can add to this. I should explain that the Department for Innovation, Universities and skills (DIUS) was created in June this year to inherit some of the functions of the now disbanded Department of Trade and Industry and department for Education and Skills. More information and contact details are available form the DIUS website at www.dius.gov.uk. As the Medical Research Council (MRC) is organised independently of central Government, you may like to address your questions regarding the functioning and expertise ogf the council members directly to the MRC at; Medical Research Council 20 Park Crescent London W1B 1AL I hope this reply is helpful. Yours sincerely Winters Customer Service Centre Department of Health Well over to you.
